• Our licensed wedding operator will typically do two flights during your wedding day- the first is covers the reception, and/or the ceremony location before the guests arrive. This will be made into a beautiful opening sequence for the full length- and highlights- video.

• The second flight is taken during the afternoon when the guests are outside. We include this as a music video sequence in the full length film, and also use some shots for the highlights video. The afternoon flight is often combines with the group photo session to ensure everybody is included in the pictures

Each wedding drone shoot has two planning phases- the first is off site using Google maps and Suncalc to study the shoot site, and from this weput together a shot list of best angles and camera moves so that the full power of cinematography is prepared and ready to use on the day. 

We consider any special events on the day- a car sweeping into the grounds of a stately home, the big group shot, drinks on the terrace or your portrait photos being taken in the grounds. The great thing about filming from the air is you get a new set of angles and movements not possible from the ground, which is a quick and easy way of upping the quality of your wedding video- and creating that Wow! factor.

The second planning phase is on the day- we will arrive early to carry out the risk assessment- checking power lines, public roads, flight paths etc. Once this is established we can focus on planning the best angles to capture the venue- and of course your wedding guests

Weather is also a consideration- If showers or sunny spells are forecast, it is essential to know when these will be- not only to keep you and your guests dry, but our experienced video operators will know how to utilise these weather conditions to enhance the images.

Please note that in line with operational guidelines, we cannot provide drone coverage when it is windy (above 20mph), rainy or after dark.
